Best Of All Relationships – Friendship !!

Remember those days in Childhood when we used to cry to go to school but after seeing our friends without even our knowledge we’ll shake off our hands from our parents and run to them hopping and screaming their names ?

Friendship is not the bond that already exists it is something precious we give birth to with our friends who we know will always be there for us, when a bully pushes us on the ground it is our friends who gets more angry than us saying only they can bully us and stand up for us.

Remember those days when you got your heartbroken and suddenly your best friend turns out to be a mama bear with weapons to attack the person who hurt you ?

Oh!..did you see that one person who was dancing and gobbling all the sweets and greeting strangers(not to mention they are an introvert) with a wide tooth smile and was equally or more happy than my parents ?..Yes you guessed it right !..that’s my best friend who wants only the best for me and not to forget the dress he/she wore is mine which I have been searching for since the time I bought it.

Even a thousand friends on Facebook cannot become one truthful and loyal friend.

And for everyone who has watched F.R.I.E.N.D.S know that no matter what friendship is all about sticking together even when whatever life puts us through.

Modern days friendship has become tagging our friends in a reliable or a mocking post to show our love towards them. But nonetheless friendship is friendship and we know when we get caught up in a situation we have our friends to play the guardian angel role .

True friendship is never envious of each other’s accomplishments but supports one and other to reach there .

Those sleepless nights of group studies one day before the exam maybe yours but the chai brought to your table and the slap which reached your head from behind while you dozed of was from a friend who wanted the best for you.

And we all would have fought with our best friend because they spoke for too long with their new friend or did something with them that they do only with you or your best friend just made a new friend. We always wanted our person to only be ours.Those long night talks about the person you both hate and simply ending the conversation with “we should be less judgemental” and sneakily sharing the evil laugh.

Whatever is theirs becomes yours the next moment you lay your eyes on it and finding their long lost stuffs with you which they thought had been stolen but you just decided to BORROW it for 2 years or more.And we all have that one friend who can get you the whole bio-data of your crush within the span of 24 hours somehow even if it means stalking them with  binoculars and imagining themselves to be the well-known detective James Bond 007.

The person who also answers your parents call while you’re out there having the best date of your life (according to what you say every single time you go on a successful date )and explaining that you are inside the restroom and sneakily merge the call with you so that no suspicions arises . And also the one who talks to you like your mom on the phone asking you to come home immediately when your date gets awkward and you become your power ranger in emergency.

And most importantly always has my back wherever I am and becomes my savior with a sword if they get to know that I’m in a dangerous or uncomfortable situation.

They might look scary to you but I swear they have a heart of gold (not exactly but you get my point right ?)And are such teddy bears but only to their friends who is ready to go eat golgappa at late nights (but makes sure that you pay) and is ready to whoop anyone’s behind if they do something bad to you and not to forget the secret gifts they leave behind on your bad days !..

And how can we not talk about the forged sign of your parents in school report cards when you scored less and both you and your friends getting caught together but not pointing out the fingers about who did it!.And let’s not forget about the empty lunch boxes which we left behind full while going out of the class for two minutes or the haircut we had after watching a movie where the hero/heroine rocks the trendy hairstyle off but when we try it looks like we woke up from coma after sixteen years.

Sneakily putting a love letter inside our crushes bag with our name written in bold to lending their hands after we fall they have become our back bones .Those group study sessions where we tasted our first sip of alcohol to getting caught by policemen for going in triples we all know they have stood with us silently smirking behind to not irk us more but ends up laughing their stomachs off after looking at our faces making us also so join .

That full fledged Goa plan which has been planned top to bottom fully but gets cancelled every single time the day before, because one of your friends got a flu or the parents told to not go or due to a hole in the budget!..are y’all even true friends if y’all haven’t planned a Goa trip which fails tremendously every single time!.

From playing flames with our crushes names only to end up being their sister or enemy all the time  to donating blood when in need we all know friends will be there in during the hardships silently being our anchor.And the times they have lend us money which we haven’t returned nor plan to return during our hard times or to just get a samosa on the way home , they have always been our personal banks and moreover over did not charge interest because they know they won’t even be getting the principal amount back!.

By the way!..where is my favorite ice cream I kept in the fridge before coming to write a letter to y’all!?..

Oh how can I forget ,my mom has let the ice cream monster inside..let me go get it first!..

..let me go get a bite become that eat gobbles it fully!.
