Online Dating In The Current World

Online dating has become a major part in the current scenario of dating.

From sending love letters through pigeons to the lover miles away to the texts of I love you’s through messages or voicemails, technology has modernized with love.

Many people have updated themselves and have come forward taking ten steps at a time through online dating where they meet their supposed soulmates through dating apps where they fall in love by looking at a person’s profile pic and getting to know them through their bio’s and selecting them with right or left swipes.

Gone are the days when postmen used to deliver the letters to a lover waiting for many days, now with just a send button the other person can understand what the lover wants to say.

In the current hectic world some people don’t have the time to spend with real people so as a solution to their problem online dating has arrived with different options for them to find their real soulmate in a technological manner.

The real online dating started with sending emails to a lover who is miles apart or in a position where they can’t talk face to face.

But what is true love? True love can begin with a simple clash of eyes or getting to know a person for many years or looking at a profile pic and reading the bio of a person and online dating has proved itself as an example.

There are people who have found their soulmates through online dating and some people who just wants to explore themselves and love more.

Online dating is not unicorns and rainbows always, it has its own ups and downs.

There may be spam accounts, there may be people only for fun and get involved with the wrong crowds and there may be lovers thousands of miles apart swimming too hard in the cold waters.

Online dating has become an online shopping app to find lovers to add them to the cart and selecting the best one at the time of payment.

Online dating has spread its wings so wide that people have forgotten the times where one stood in the bus stand or hid behind a pillar to catch a glance at their loved one and placing a love letter inside the lovers bag with a different handwriting to not get caught.

The traditional way of courting a person has slowly become invisible in the current world where people prefer instant texts over a long anticipated letter.

Online dating apps has changed love into a game of left and right swipes where one gets confused over which profile picture to choose or which bio is more interesting.

According to a psychological research it has been proven that we tend to say people more about ourselves through texts than face to face.

It may be an added advantage if we are able to find a true person to keep up our secrets but if it lands in the wrong eyes or ears we are putting ourselves into danger.

Nowadays we are not able to look at the person we love in the eyes and profuse our love due to the pulsating insecurities of getting rejected so we choose the easiest option which is online dating.

In online dating, falling in love has become a procedure to follow, that starts right after swiping their pictures that acts like you are adding them to your cart in accordance to your preferences and likes.

The behavior we expose in online dating may vary in real life and this becomes a major love crisis in the mere future.

The language of love is keen on changing itself in online dating.

Real hearts are being sent as emojis and emoticons, it has become so common that the whole point of sending hearts to someone has lost it meaning and when those hearts do not receive the response that is expected by the sender, they are taken back after deleting the texts.

Yes deleting texts have become so common and must be added to the top 10 annoying feelings that one can feel list. It is literally that annoying.

Many people are being ghosted on online dating platforms, where the other person is ready to love them for a span of time and vanishes from the land of love. That’s heart break there alright!

“Cookie Jarring” is keeping a person as a backup when your current partner wants to take a step backwards in the love life. This way many innocent hearts get played in this game of “love” so as we call it that. This is basically to make the person feel secure that if one person leaves, the other person will lend a shoulder that is a ‘text’ in the virtual world, to lean on.

Online dating has increased the percentage of cheating by being unfaithful to a person or lack of loyalty by proving there are many fishes in the sea.

And there will also be other lovers who send texts that read out commitment but the reality is,  they don’t want to have a partner right now but to have a backup in the future when in need.

Online dating has become a menu page just like the one we get in cafes or online shopping site to choose the food which we haven’t tasted through looking at the pictures.

Online dating has proven to increase anxiety levels and depression rates in a human brain by causing uncalled stress, which is very much not needed.

Which creates an impact on the victim by playing it’s part of increasing insecurities and self-doubt, which will make them fall short of self-love.

Online dating is like recycling a relationship with different people.

In American countries more than 30 percent of people fall in love and marry the person they met through online dating apps.

The era of digital dating has become a taunting point to the singleness of a person and makes them mingle with strangers which may or may not turn out well.

According to proven research men tend to use dating apps more than women.

More than 75 percent of people in dating apps are adults below the age of 30.

Online dating is starting to create an impact on offline dating due to the wide options and preferences.

In online dating a person is being calculated according to their bio which shows whether they want a serious or a fun relationship with the significant other so that it could diminish a lot of problems that could sprout in the future.

People lack efforts involved in courtship in online dating because a few flirty pick-up lines seem to be intriguing to the other when in real life it takes too much courage for the person to muster up the courage to talk them out.

Catfishing is also a common problem while dating a person online (who remember Sierra Burgges is a loser). An image of a different person may be portrayed to attract a person and make them fall in love with a duplicate image.

So before dating someone through digital platform look them up in a more clear angle and FYI use your detective skills if needed (but be sure not to mention about their cousins and dog)

Show the person you’re dating the real you not someone who hides behind a shield of someone’s persona according to the platform they are involved in.

Online dating apps play the role of Modern Matrimonial sites where we find our own partners.

The dating ideas have changed in the last 20 years than it has been in the A.D and BC.

But whatever maybe the type of medium involved if the love we have for the significant other is true and passionate we can build bridges across the oceans.

While dating someone online be wary and get to know them completely before taking further steps and to help you all we have Blind Meet. An app designed to meet people and get to know and understand them beforehand, so guys let us

 “Start meeting and Stop swiping!”
